E5172, GPL Written Offer, take

Hello,

Does the GPL have a time limit for when the sources must be made available?

Can a distributor of GPL software just state "*we will make the source and
any modifications to it available as soon as possible, we are on top of it
with full speed, for sure, you bet*, *look at us care*"?
See below for my inquiry with Huawei for getting the source code as stated
in their "GPL written offer",
it seems to me I wont get the source or any modifications to it, what can I
do in this case?

The link you sent me is for the GPL Written Offer PDF file.

I dont want that file! That is not the source code.

Give me the SOURCE CODE for the Linux kernel as is used in the device, any
standard c library and all other free software that is used on the device.

I own the E5172 device and require the source code for it, the Linux kernel
it uses, dropbear, uclibc and any other free software used on it.

Please email it to me, offer it for download on your website, or send it in
paper-writing by mail.
