As an example, 'public facilities' versus 'private facilities'. In
order for something to be a facility, it infers ownership and legal
rights to control.
Sounds like your point is based on the equipment has to be owned by the
organization. That view is not stated in the text nor do I believe it is
likely to be interpreted that way.
It doesn't have to be clearly stated in the contract. Just like you
can't trespass when a sign says, 'Private Facility, keep out'. You
give me a sign sentence even in common English how facilities is used
as a verb and not a concrete thing.
It all seems like a stretch to make a case that isn't there. We should
focus on known offenders rather than trying to make a case from nothing.
I'm not making a case. The people who are getting together are ones
who physically own the code which your talking about. They own it.
Not you, not Chad. Them. And the FSF will generally respond to
requests for help in enforcing such things.
